Over the past few months our team of web designers, developers, and digital marketers have been busy with one project in particular – the new Zen Web Solutions website.
Web technologies have progressed rapidly over the past 10 years and we see ourselves being at the forefront. Since Zen Web Solutions was established, technology has moved on from tables to CSS, ASP to .NET development, and at the same time seen huge growth in the search engine optimisation industry.

We felt the time had come to use the power of these technologies in our very own website, last redesigned over 2 years ago. The new website utilises our content management system allowing complete control over content through a Web browser.
We’ve tried to make the whole experience more appealing but we’ve focused on making these sections the key ones:
- Services – simplier to navigate and with distilled content
- Portfolio – we now feature over 100 client sites with a Flash portfolio app, with each client categorised by industry
- Client Testimonials – updated and expanded for 2010
- Blog – you’re reading it now – powered by WordPress (see why WordPress is so good)
Over the past few years we’ve been producing aesthetic Web designs, bespoke development projects and providing a full range of digital marketing services to our clients. We hope that by providing the most relevant and up-to-date information about the services we offer, potential and current clients will find the site useful and interesting, as well as pleasing to the eye.
As the Division Manager my final thoughts are as follows:
The team have done a brilliant job on the new website, there’s been a lot of hard work behind the scenes with input from everyone. I think it showcases our services and portfolio of clients especially well, making use of modern Web techniques and our content management system. It’s another step in the continued growth of Zen Web Solutions.

I haven’t yet had time to explore much of your new site, but what a pity you didn’t write it in English! I mean real English, not the touchy-feely, mid-Atlantic sales and marketing pap that passes for English these days.

Thanks for the feedback; although I’m not quite sure we agree with your comments! It’s true, the site has been designed to sell and market our services – hence the marketing tone – but we’ve tried really hard to make it easy to read where possible (and free of jargon).
