Bright Books | Launch Site |
As a supplier to libraries, prisons and schools with particular expertise in sourcing foreign language books, Bright Books operate in an extremely competitive and narrow market place.
In addition to their new site being able to cope with credit/debit card and account payments, it also handles multi-currency payments for their European clients, contains a shipping model that can cope with multiple territories and order sizes, and offers a credits-based rental service for the range of products offered.
Our relationship with Zen started very positively. They were keen to find out not just where we are currently but where we saw ourselves in the future and what their role would be in getting us there. Zen took great care in getting to know us and what it was we were doing. In some ways what we do is simple but we have complicated elements of our business.
Zen managed to understand and decipher all of the elements of the company and include them in the design brief. I felt that the hands on approach was important and Zen didn’t just want to talk to the decision makers but were also happy to engage with key members of staff to get a true feeling for the company. We were delighted when we got the first trial website; it captured the ethos and culture of Bright Books perfectly. The website was attractive, had a contemporary feel and importantly had the sort of functionality crucial in the modern market place.
In closing we are very happy that our relationship with Zen is a two way thing. Whilst the success of the website is crucial to us, we were also given the impression that it’s important to Zen. They take a pride and a professional interest in the websites they produce and we hope the relationship between Bright Books and Zen will be a long and fruitful one.
