A large telecommunications equipment provider, Pennine Telecom has had an online presence since 1998. Their first Web site was largely text based and generated very few enquiries. The IP telephony market is fiercely competitive and with IP phones being introduced into many offices, Pennine needed to capitalise on this trend. Subsequent revisions of the site proved ineffective and in 2004 Pennine commissioned Zen Web Solutions to re-design the site and integrate a full Content Management System. The site continues to perform extremely well for Pennine and has undergone a recent facelift. Zen’s search engine promotion work for Pennine has delivered them some fantastic results, with over 20 Google top ten results for key search phrases.
